At the scene, three individuals suspected of involvement in the trafficking operation were apprehended. Authorities also confiscated a firearm along with a loaded magazine during the raid.
The inquiry has been handed to the Gauteng Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation Unit for further examination. The legal status and identities of the 26 undocumented individuals are currently being assessed to determine if they qualify as trafficking victims.
Community Alert and Ongoing Investigation
Authorities have urged the public to report any sighting of unclothed individuals nearby, as they may still be linked to this case.
Law enforcement and the Hawks are dedicated to intensifying their efforts to dismantle such operations and safeguard vulnerable individuals.
