When does the January transfer window open and close?

This year, English football clubs initiated their January transfer window on Wednesday, January 1st.

According to league regulations, new signings are eligible to play in the next Premier League match if the club submits the necessary paperwork by noon on the last working day before that match.

When is the transfer deadline day and what time does it end?

The deadline for all leagues is established for Monday, February 3 at 23:00 GMT.

After the transfer window closes, clubs are required to submit their squad lists.

Furthermore, the winter transfer deadlines for different leagues are as follows: Bundesliga (5pm GMT), Serie A (7pm), Ligue 1 in France (10pm), and La Liga (11pm).

Do the Premier League and EFL share the same transfer window?

The transfer window operates on the same schedule for both the Premier League and EFL.

Premier League clubs are restricted to registering a maximum of two players on loan concurrently.

EFL clubs can make emergency loans if all their professional goalkeepers are unavailable due to injuries, suspensions, or international duties.
