COLEEN ROONEY witnessed Everton’s defeat against Nottingham Forest while her husband Wayne also encountered a loss at Oxford.
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here runner-up, 38, attended the match at Goodison Park to see Wayne‘s cherished team fall 2-0 to the impressive Forest.
Coleen appeared downcast while seated at Merseyside along with her sons Kai, 15, Klay, 11, and Cass, 6 – just weeks after her defeat to Danny Jones in the jungle.
Having returned from Australia just before Christmas, she chose to take her children to the Everton match instead of going to Plymouth’s game against Oxford on Sunday.
Her day took a turn for the worse upon discovering that Wayne’s Plymouth team had also suffered yet another defeat.
The Championship side faced a 2-0 loss at Oxford on Saturday afternoon.
This led to their winless streak extending to nine matches, raising serious concerns about relegation.
Plymouth currently sits at the bottom of the league, lagging four points behind safety.
Speculation is rife regarding Rooney’s job security in Devon.
After the defeat to Oxford, Rooney told BBC Radio Devon: “We didn’t create enough chances and allowed them to score.”

“The first goal came from a cross, which is disappointing because we’ve been trying to stop crosses and improve our defense.”
“The second goal resulted from a counter-attack; our one-on-one defense was inadequate, and we paid the price for it.”
Wayne Rooney’s position under threat after Frank Lampard’s Coventry brutally outclass his ten-men Plymouth squad 4-0
“I expected a better performance from our team today, but unfortunately, it ended in a loss.”
Rooney started his role at Plymouth in the summer yet has only managed to achieve five wins out of 25 matches in charge.
