Damon Heta left the crowd at Alexandra Palace in awe with an incredible nine-darter.
His rival, Luke Woodhouse, genuinely seemed to admire the outstanding achievement.
After a brief Christmas break, Heta and Woodhouse continued their match in the PDC World Darts Championship.
The Australian quickly gave the excited fans a reason to cheer.
Despite initially losing the first set to Woodhouse, Heta staged a remarkable comeback.
His nine-darter was only the second recorded in this year’s tournament thus far.
Christian Kist was the first to reach this milestone the previous week.
This season, players are presented with an additional incentive to score a nine-darter.
A new program awards players a £60,000 bonus for achieving this milestone.

Moreover, £60,000 will be donated to charity each time a nine-darter is scored, along with a cash prize for a fortunate fan in attendance.
The lucky fan who won the cash prize after Kist’s nine-darter last week couldn’t believe his luck when chosen, exclaiming, “this can’t be real.”
One user expressed on social media: “WHAT HAVE I JUST SEEN!!! DAMON HETA, TAKE A BOW!”
