“Congratulations to all the families. We urge parents to ensure their babies receive immunizations on schedule to protect them against diseases like polio, tuberculosis, hepatitis, measles, and meningitis,” remarked Nkomo-Ralehoko.
“Immunization services are available free of charge at all public clinics and community health centers within the province,” she continued.
Nzuza highlighted the critical nature of immediate birth registration, stating, “Registering births is the first step in establishing a child’s presence in the national population register. Without it, children may face challenges accessing necessary services. To streamline this process, we have set up home affairs offices in health facilities.”
