Authorities have apprehended two individuals suspected of stealing cellphones during Makhadzi’s sold-out One Woman Show at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Limpopo.
The famous artist drew a remarkable audience of 46,000 fans on Saturday, but the excitement was marred by incidents of theft. In a decisive action, the police’s public order unit quickly launched a search for the perpetrators.

Cellphones Recovered from Makhadzi’s Show
By 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, law enforcement had arrested two suspects believed to be involved in the theft. According to police spokesperson Lt-Col Stephen Thakeng, a 26-year-old was caught with two stolen cellphones, while his 30-year-old accomplice possessed an astonishing 12 devices.
Several victims were able to identify the suspects, and their stolen phones were returned to them at the nearby police station.
Investigation and Legal Proceedings
“The suspects are expected to appear in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court soon, facing charges related to possessing suspected stolen property,” stated Lt-Col Thakeng. He added that the investigation is ongoing.
