SERENITY ROSE (3.30 Lingfield, nap).
She makes a return to her preferred mile distance on the all-weather track following her win at Wolverhampton early last year. This lengthening seems to be a wise decision by rookie trainer Jack Morland, particularly after her strong second-place run over seven furlongs here 18 days prior.
ZHANG FEI (2.43 Fakenham, nb)
Fern O’Brien has had near misses with her father Fergal’s son of Camelot twice this season. They achieved an impressive third place at Taunton last time, and this smaller field should play to their advantage. The ground’s give suits him perfectly, paving the way for a well-deserved victory.
MC LOVEN (2.30 Lingfield, treble)
He’s been out of the race since finishing third in a more competitive outing here in September. His record at Lingfield stands strong with 214213, and the handicapper has been just with only a 1lb rise. He should be a formidable contender.
