How long has Rio Ngumoha been part of Liverpool?

The young prospect joined the Merseyside club in September coming from Chelsea as a result of Arne Slot’s proactive transfer strategy.

Liverpool moved to sign the 16-year-old in April after being impressed by his goal-scoring ability during Chelsea’s U17 Premier League Cup final against Wolves.

However, Chelsea’s concerns about Liverpool’s signing delayed his debut with the Kop club’s Under-18s until September.

The forward has made a notable impression on Slot during his short time at the club, resulting in an invitation to train with the first team last month.

Ngumoha was listed in the Reds’ squad for their Champions League fixture against Girona, but unfortunately, he was not eligible to play as he was not named on the European tournament’s List B.

His only opportunity to participate would have required his inclusion in the 25-man List A squad.
