AWORKINPROGRESS (2.12 Lingfield, nap)
This horse appears set to shine and keep an unblemished chasing record. Nick Gifford’s five-year-old secured victory in his chase debut at Stratford and followed with another win at the same course and distance just three weeks ago. He favors softer ground and should handle the 8lb weight rise with ease.
KYNTARA (1.15 Newbury, nb)
This horse boasts an impressive hurdles record, including a second-place finish in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham last season. He finished second in his only chase attempt in 2022, and his front-running style is well suited for this smaller field.
TIGHTENOURBELTS (12.50 Ludlow, treble)
This horse jumped superbly to clinch victory at Exeter last time out. A 3lb increase seems reasonable, and he has the endurance needed to navigate this distance effectively.
CABHFUILFUNGI (2.35 Ludlow, lucky 15)
This horse may be tricky for commentators but completes our Lucky 15. He has finished as runner-up in his last two outings, and his most recent performance seems stronger than the current competition.
