Lookman, who shone with Atalanta and Nigeria’s Super Eagles, received the award for CAF Men’s Player of the Year.

Banda was honored as the Women’s Player of the Year for her impressive performance in the 2024 National Women’s Soccer League in the United States, where she led Orlando Pride to victory in both the NWSL Shield and Championship title.

Significantly, she achieved a hat-trick for Zambia at the 2024 Paris Olympics, marking her third hat-trick in Olympic football history.
