The Web3 wallet Holdstation has launched a new AI agent platform called A(i)gentFi, which is focused on the creation, management, and monetization of AI agents on the ZKsync network.
In a blog post dated December 12, the ZKsync-based DeFi wallet Holdstation revealed its initiative to integrate more artificial intelligence agents into the blockchain with the introduction of its AI agent hub A(i)gentFi, along with a $2 million grant to foster AI innovation within the blockchain space.
The company characterized A(i)gentFi as a “comprehensive hub on ZKsync dedicated to the development and creation of AI agents.” These AI agents are capable of performing complex activities such as trading, market analysis, and content generation autonomously, without any need for human oversight.
As indicated in the blog post, A(i)gentFi seeks to establish itself as the “hub for all AI agents.” The platform emphasizes practical applications, particularly in DeFi automation, yield farming, and tokenized AI ownership.
In contrast to Virtuals.io, an online marketplace primarily focused on gaming and entertainment, A(i)gentFi is committed to the development and creation of AI agents. It utilizes DeFi automation to simplify intricate processes, implements a fee-sharing model that benefits participants, and offers a tokenized AI ownership framework enabling users to co-own AI agents on the ZKsync platform.
To encourage more developers to engage with the AI agent platform, Holdstation is launching a $2 million grant aimed at supporting developers, DAOs, and creators in the development of AI and blockchain projects on A(i)gentFi. Holdstation will also provide technical support, including infrastructure, tools, and expert advice, along with financial backing through Holdstation’s governance token, HOLD.
AI technology is still emerging within the cryptocurrency sector. An analysis from Syncracy Capital revealed that AI-integrated crypto ventures account for just 1% of the total crypto market cap, but this figure is expected to increase significantly with the proliferation of AI platforms like AI Infra.
Recently, AI platform developer KaJ Labs committed $100 million to developing advanced AI solutions within the XRP ecosystem. Additionally, blockchain tool creator Tools for Humanity has also partnered with AI startup Modulus Labs to enhance security for its layer-2 network called World.
