Durban – A shooting has taken place on the N3 westbound at the Pavilion offramp in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Garrith Jamieson, spokesperson for ALS Paramedics Medical Services, reported that a truck driver suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, resulting in critical injuries.

Jamieson further mentioned that paramedics administered immediate care to the wounded truck driver before he was rushed to a hospital.

The specifics surrounding the shooting incident, which occurred on Wednesday afternoon (11 December 2024), remain unclear.

Currently, there is no information available regarding the identity of the shooter or the motive for the attack.
