The All Blacks have announced the venues for their two Rugby Championship test matches against the Springboks next year.

The opening test is set to be held at the renowned Hampden Park in Auckland on 6 September. New Zealand has an impressive unbeaten history at this location, achieving 48 wins and 2 draws from 50 encounters.

The second test will occur on 13 September at Sky Stadium in Wellington.

This upcoming series provides the Springboks an opportunity to return the favor, as they hosted both matches in South Africa earlier this year. Their victories in those games marked their first Freedom Cup win since 2009.

The Springboks are on a remarkable winning streak against the All Blacks, having secured four straight wins, including the Rugby World Cup final last year in France. This impressive run started with a World Cup warm-up match at Twickenham Stadium.

By selecting the legendary Hampden Park for the first test, the All Blacks are putting their remarkable unbeaten streak on the line. The Springboks are keen to build on their winning streak against this traditional rival.

Moreover, the Springboks will take on Australia in two Rugby Championship matches in South Africa, with the venues yet to be determined by SA Rugby. They will also face Argentina both at home and away before wrapping up the year with the Autumn Nations Series in the UK.

Notably, the Springboks achieved a historic feat during the 2023 Autumn Nations Series by winning all three matches on their tour, a significant accomplishment they had not achieved since 2013.
