Brazilian icon Ronaldinho is on the verge of becoming a grandparent at just 45 years old.

The gorgeous influencer girlfriend of the soccer star’s son, Joao Mendes, who transferred to Burnley from Barcelona last August, shared the exciting news this weekend that she is expecting their first baby.

Giovanna Buscacio, 25, residing with 19-year-old Joao in Manchester and boasting an impressive Instagram following of 130,000, shared a post yesterday that included baby and milk bottle emojis with the caption: “16 weeks and counting.”

Additionally, she posted a selfie resting her hand on her bare belly, as well as a video of herself kissing Joao in a lift. She shared cheerful snapshots of the couple with a heartfelt message in both English and Portuguese: “Mom and dad. Incomplete without you my love but we are already together.”

Joao replied with a loving message: “I love you so much, my darling.”

The former Barcelona and AC Milan player Ronaldinho was spotted over the weekend attending a charity football event in eastern China and has yet to publicly respond on social media.

Joao, currently playing for Burnley U21s primarily as a right winger, is the only child of Ronaldinho.

His mother, ex-dancer Janaina Mendes, met the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year while working on the renowned Brazilian TV show “Domingão do Faustão.”

Originally from Belo Horizonte, as noted on her Instagram, she now resides in Barcelona.

At just 14 years old, Joao Mendes signed his initial contract with Nike in May 2019, alongside his glamorous mother and Ronaldinho, who was the brand’s face when he won the world’s best player award in 2005.

The promising talent from Rio de Janeiro secured his first professional contract with Brazil’s Cruzeiro at only 13 before moving to Europe.

Joao’s girlfriend, a captivating brunette, is the sister of actress Guillia Buscacio.

The couple has been together for over two years, with Giovanna often sharing pictures on social media that showcase their new life in the UK since moving in together.

Ronaldinho, who celebrated his 40th birthday in jail in Paraguay due to an arrest for using a fake passport, will turn 45 on March 21.
